but I know that they’re an attempt to hide
the fear that lies within your eyes,
plus a need to conform,
and within these parameters, to stand out,
just a little,
from the rest of the crowd.
The logo tells of their financial cost.
The empty eyes behind them –
the only sign of what else you’ve lost.
